Today is cookie 1st lesson of the obedience course.
Reached there about 15mins early.. So waited in the car till about time before I went to the shop...
The trainer is very friendly.. Talk to her awhile before starting the lesson.. Was quite comfortable with her.. She gave me a clicker n a progress card..so she can monitor her progress...anyway She told me we gotta change location after march.. Anyway still got 3 weeks to go..
-1st lesson-
Cookie was not very responsive to the clicker.. She doesn't even want her treats.. Which is quite rare.. Cos the treats I gave her is one of her fave. So we gotta change to praising method instead... Basically today lesson was to intro her to clicker.. She didn't do well there.. But when I teach her at home, she did quite well:) and 1 more thing... She MARK!!
The trainer say if a female dog mark.. They are very dominant type... Hopefully after all the lesson finish, she can be a more tame gal... Plus the trainer commented cookie is very pretty.. Cos she say the shih tzus she always encounted is all short coat... At least the money I spent grooming her is worth it.. Haha..
Anyway I ordered superdog for dinner... Yummy !! Cos I simply love hotdogs :)
